We checked out of the pension this morning around 10 a.m. and made it to the train in time for the 11 a.m. train to Innsbruck. The train is surprisingly empty and we had our own little set of seats, but not in a cabin, rather in the coach.
I'm now on the train towards Innsbruck, less than two hours away from Salzburg. It is 11:45 a.m.
A nice breakfast was served at Tauernhof, but there was no meat. The first stop on our day tour of Salzburg was the post office, where Kirsten mailed about a half-million postcards by airmail at about 80 cents (8,5 ATS) a whack.
