It’s five o’clock somewhere

In fact, it’s already well after seven o’clock in Montpellier. Is it too early to reset my watch?

The last time we were at Terminal 3 at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport was the last time we flew to Montpellier, about 30 months ago. They were in the middle of extensive renovations then, and today we’re seeing the end result. It puts Terminal 4 to shame. We were checked in and through the TSA checkpoint in a little over ten minutes.

We decided before we left the house that we’d have an early lunch at the airport. With everything going so smoothly, we’re actually too early for lunch. The server took our order anyway, I’m enjoying a beer while waiting for our burgers.

Wait, the Gilmans are eating meat on a Friday? Today is Friday in the octave of Easter. It has a rank of solemnity, so we feast! Alleluia! That we’re flying on a Meat Friday is not entirely a coincidence.

    1. The beer is a Devil’s Ale from SanTan Brewing. It’s a local brewery based in Chandler, but with a few outposts around the Valley, including this new one in Terminal 3. Cheers!
