The Conservatory of Flowers in Golden Gate Park, San Francisco

In August 2004, just a few weeks after moving to Arizona, I decided to take a road trip to San Francisco, California, for a long weekend. I didn’t fall in love with San Francisco the way so many do, but I did enjoy a long walk through Golden Gate Park all the way to the coast. This is a photo of the Conservatory of Flowers in all the park’s late summer splendor.

    1. San Francisco has some beautiful spots, including Golden Gate Park, but I don’t long to go back. I’ve visited San Francisco only once since, and that was only because I had a goal of seeing all 21 of the old California missions, and one of them is in San Francisco. I was in the city for less than three hours.
