Friends and family registration

Some of you have already noticed my new blog does not allow anonymous comments. You have to register an account in order to leave a comment. This has gotten rid of the comment spam I had with the previous blogs, but it has introduced a new problem: bogus users. I’ve been flushing the obviously spammy accounts every few days, but I may not be able to get to it much next week when I’m traveling.

Here’s what I’m asking of my friends and family members: If you think there’s a chance you’ll want to comment while I’m away, please register a new account now, and then leave a trivial reply to this post. I’ll approve your comment before I leave, which should allow you to leave additional comments while I’m abroad.
